61 Local and I are embarking on a four part series devoted to seasonal fair, regional wines, and house made cheeses. The first one up is on Sunday, February 22nd, marking the beginning of the Year of the Goat and Sheep, according to the Chinese calendar. Although cheese is not a traditional Chinese food, this coming of the New Year marks an excellent time to appreciate all things goat and sheep, while eating a delectable meal. Come join us for a four-course meal featuring flavorful winter produce and fresh HOUSEmade cheeses. The meal will consist of an amuse bouche, three savorycheese-centric courses, dessert, and three regional wine pairings, all prepared by seasoned cheese-maker and chef, Jessica Sennett.On Sunday, February 22nd at 7:00 pm, 20 diners will gather at a large communal table for a night of great food, engaging cheese-y conversation, and general imbibement.
